SOUL MATE V/S TWIN FLAME

All of us, at some point in our lives, have read about soulmates. We have perhaps even dreamed about them, and unconsciously searched for them. Who exactly is a SOULMATE? In current usage, "soulmate" usually refers to a romantic or platonic partner, with the implication of an exclusive lifelong bond. It commonly holds the connotation of being the strongest bond with another person that one can achieve. Is this the end though? Is there no other relationship that goes beyond this?

The answer stands a strong yes. Often referred to as 'mirror soul' or 'soul connection', a twin flame is said to be the other half of your soul. Crazy, isn't it? It is theorized that a soul can split into 'two' after ascending to a higher frequency. Thereafter, ending in two different bodies. They are your mirror. What is important to note is that your soulmate is made from the same kind of energy as yours but has never really existed in fusion with you. Twin Flames are two souls who were once the same energy consciousness. They represent two parts of the same original consciousness that chose to divide into two to experience the nature of duality, expand learning and evolution of understanding, and ultimately reunite through love.

Here's the thing about soulmates: They align with your soul and are sent to challenge, awaken, and stir you up to transcend to a higher level of consciousness and awareness. This means a soulmate does not necessarily have to a romantic partner. So does this mean that your twin flame has to be someone you fall in love with? Well no, you don't need to be in love with them, although most of the time you end up falling, a twin flame can be a romantic partner, a friend, a mentor, or anybody else. It is important to remember that a twin flame connection is a two-way spiritual street.

Another difference is you can have several soulmates but you can only have one twin flame. While your soulmate can be like you, your twin flame is your yin-yang. You can find your soulmates in all your lives, although you don't find your twin flame in all your lives.

Soulmate and twin flames are more similar. then they are different. The borderline being that twin flames are the counterpart of your soul, whereas a soulmate is made from the same energy as yours. Both of these are equally important for your growth on all the pedestals.

The best way to find them is to not find them. Let those experiences flow through you and your heart will tell you if they are the one. Another important thing is to focus on yourself, to keep working on yourself spiritually, and keep growing because your vibrations will only match if they are on the same note!
