VIRTUAL EDUCATION

The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn…. And change”.- Carls rogers

Everyone knew that the world will shrink one day as we humans are setting a new milestone every day in the field of technology.

Few years back no one could believe that a time will come when we will limit our activities to our self and get in self-imprisonment with our phone screen.

Nowadays, everyone is trying to restrict themselves from going out due to the ongoing pandemic coronavirus. The pandemic is a global problem and it is very tough to resolve this problem at a sudden. It has affected each and everyone equally. Even the most basic and necessary thing for the development of economy and infrastructure -school and colleges got affected.

Problem Give Rise to Inventions-

Whenever we face a problem, we either get familiar with it or we bounce back and make another way to do our task. Our building block of infrastructure school and colleges also did the same they bounce back and come with a stupendous idea of providing education to the nation builders through some online and virtual platforms. It is not the first time that we are using virtual/online platforms for education purposes but for now it was the only feather in the cap that we were left with. Now, every single educational organisation are using the method of virtual education.

Virtual Learning -boon or bane-

It was a big task for everyone especially teachers because most of the times they do not have exposure towards technology and that convicted the virtual education to be a torment for them because the teacher themselves have to learn about it. If we see it in a bigger picture then we get to know that virtual learning is a great accomplishment for all of us because the students are still getting knowledge through it.

Cause for a mental strain-

It is true that the virtual platform is a very good source of education now a day but we cannot deny that it could be very difficult to learn about these online platforms who are not trained about it. We all have witnessed so many cases where the teachers get humiliated by the students because they do not know how to conduct it properly. Many teachers have faced that problem which has created a feeling of terror in their minds. Not only teachers but also the students are facing these problems because not everyone is born here with a silver spoon. Students coming from poor background are failing the requirement for starting the study on these platforms. Also due to pro-longed studying on mobile phones and laptops are creating health issues for both teacher and students like- stress, weakness of eyesight, mental pressure, headache etc.

Restricting the usage of platform accordingly for betterment-

Virtual education is proving itself to be an alternative to the traditional way of learning but we should also keep the fact in mind that it also has some major offshoot like-mental illness, restricting physical activities, increasing health issues that we cannot ignore. It is a hypothetical situation where we should move towards the medial.

Virtual education is necessary so that’s why we should decrease the time spent on virtual learning by self-learning process so that we can also balance the issue of health disease.

Conclusion –

Virtual education is the necessity for the nation as it is helping the future nation builders to bounce back in the hard times. Also, virtual education has taught us that we can use it to teach those who cannot afford to learn through the traditional method by simple investment and I hope that the government would soon create an arrangement of virtual education for those who can not afford it. In the end – educated is the one who has learned how to learn in these though times and change themselves according to the prevailing environment.
