Mahatma Gandhi used to say that a human being is controlled by his thoughts. Whatever he thinks, he becomes that. With his great humour and experience, he gave certain thoughts that became a source of inspiration not only for India but for the human beings of the entire world. But the question that arises is:- Is Mahatma Gandhi Still Alive In The Heart Of people? Are his thoughts still relevant in today's era?
Mahatma Gandhi was an iconic leader and a great human. He used to believe in humanity and preach this belief of him to his disciples. In today's world, the need for humanity has increased manifolds, as we see and hear dehumanising things every now and then. Humanity is just like a river. If some drops of the river are dirty that doesn't mean that the entire river is dirty., thus every human should try his/her best to make this world a better place to live in.
He used to say " Always speak truth to yourself, always think high, but always get satisfied with small things and always remain true to yourself". Gandhi once said, " If you want to change the world, first change yourself". We see Gandhi's pictures every day sometimes on currency and sometimes on the wall of government offices. But it seems like from a few years Gandhi has disappeared, not only from our thoughts but also from our hearts.Don't see bad, don't speak bad and don't hear bad, the relevance of this thought today is not realized by Indians. Today, our world has got divided into two parts:- First part is moving very forward in life and the second part of the world is struggling every day for winning the bread for themselves and their families. In today's times, Gandhian theory of morals is losing its value albeit being most relevant.
Not only in India but in every part of the world violence is growing with high rate. So, is Gandhi present today only in our government Ceremonies and few books? When we see violence on the name of castes and creeds then the question arises that where is that Gandhi's dream world, the world in which people stay united, gone? Our today's generation needs to take inspiration from Father Of The Nation. If we'll live our lives by abiding on Gandhi's morals then it'll make our lives much brighter in the near future. Simplicity gives birth to a fruitful life.
Let's all of us take a pledge and say:- Mom, get me a small Dhoti made of Khaadi By wearing it I'll mimic Mahatma Gandhi I'll wear glasses on my eyes Will hang a watch at my back By holding a chaddi in my hand I'll pass happiness to every home Will inspire many people to learn the lesson of non -violence I'll try every possible way to bring neologism back.
