The national recruitment agency is a multi-agency body that is responsible for conducting a common eligibility test. The National Recruitment Agency will cover non-gazetted, non-technical jobs that come under the Group B and C (non-technical) posts.
It pays a crucial role in employing people in different sectors. The Union Cabinet on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, approved to set up the National Recruitment Agency (NRA) to help job seekers.
It is news of relief for all those who were tense about losing their old ones due to lockdown and those who were preparing hard for the exams.
According to the report by Times of India, NRA will have representatives of the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Finance/Department of Financial Services, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Providing with the relaxation of seats to lower sections of the society in the exam process.
CET had to be done through online modes only to keep people safe from this pandemic. The dates of release of forms along with the last date of submission is been mentioned on concerned websites of the ministry. Candidates have to have a regular update for the same.
Hailing the initiative, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday tweeted “The National Recruitment Agency will prove to be a boon for crores of youngsters. Through the common eligibility test, it will eliminate multiple tests and save precious time as well as resources. This will also be a big boost to transparency”.
It had brought new hopes for a better future of the Indian population after getting hit by recession in the economy due to COVID-19.
